How does it work?

Swap Art provides a space for your art work to be seen by art lovers who visit our web site.  If someone is interested in purchasing this art work, or would like more information, you will receive an email contact, or phone call providing you with their contact details.  From here on you are on your own.

How do people find MY works?

All art works will be listed by Artist, Genre and Medium. Your work will be listed under all three categories, and possibly more.

How do I purchase works?

If you find a work that you are interested in purchasing, you submit your contact details to Swap Art.  Swap Art will then give your details to the owner of the artwork.  You must agree to allow us to do this.  We will only pass on your preferred email address or phone number.

How do I get an artwork listed? .

You must register your artwork on the "Submit Artwork" link on the blue bar at the top of the screen.  You must submit a good image, together with as much detail as you can, including artist, title, age and condition, and whether framed or unframed.   

If you know what price you want for your pre-loved artwork, you can also provide this information, however, we give no guarantee that you will get this amount.  You must also tick a box stating that you are the owner of this art work and agree to all our terms and conditions.

If your work is accepted, then you will be sent an email with a link to the payment page. Once payment is received, your artwork is uploaded to the Swapart gallery.

Can anyone submit an artwork?

We will only accept works from private individuals, and private galleries by arrangement. We do not accept artist's own work.  We have the right to refuse anyone who we think may not be a genuine seller or owner of an artwork.  All art work must be from a well know artist (appear on the first page of any internet search).
